We request the pleasure of your company at an Oscar Wilde tea at Tonia's Victorian Rose Tea Room on the 12th of November from 2-4 PM. You will enjoy a plethora of sweets and savouries, including cucumber sandwiches (if Algernon does not eat them first). The staff will set the tables with the finest blue china (and a few other colours). As Mr. Wilde is indisposed, having died in 1900, wit and coversation shall be provided by Oscar's Ghost. That is to say, the book called "Oscar's Ghost" read and discussed by its author, Laura Lee. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. You are encouraged to dress for the occasion and enjoy learning about Oscar Wilde and the battle over his legacy. Remember: "The only way to atone for being occasionally a little over-dressed is to be absolutely over-educated."
