The City of Inkster invites the community to their 49th Annual Memorial Day Parade with the theme “A salute to sacrifice and service” to honor the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for freedom. This monumental celebration will include marches, floats, clowns, unique cars, horses, bands and a tribute to veterans. Inkster’s parade is the second oldest in the state, and hosts a variety of entrants. The event will include local businesses, kid-friendly activities, service organizations and churches through their participation and donations. The parade will begin promptly at noon, and continue eastbound on Michigan Avenue, to southbound Bayhan to eastbound Trowbridge finishing at Inkster City Hall at 2 p.m.
