He said there is no evidence that wolves are a problem in the Upper Peninsula.</p><p>“So it’s a hunting season for trophy hunters who want to kill an animal that just basically reappeared in the state of Michigan in recent years,” said Hodge.</p> Thu, 17 Jan 2013 21:29:27 +0000 Jake Neher 10834 at http://michiganradio.org Group gets green light to seek repeal of wolf hunt law from state board INFOGRAPHIC: Size matters in fight over Michigan's emergency manager law http://michiganradio.org/post/infographic-size-matters-fight-over-michigans-emergency-manager-law <p>Even though <a href="http://www.michiganradio.org/post/emergency-manager-referendum-headed-november-ballot-now">they won today</a>, the group hoping to repeal Michigan&#39;s emergency manager law could still face a legal challenge in the Michigan Supreme Court.</p><p><a href="http://michiganradio.org/post/whos-behind-group-citizens-fiscal-responsibility">Those arguing against the emergency manager voter referendum</a> say size matters. And they say the font on the petitions circulated by the group <a href="http://www.michiganradio.org/post/groups-behind-public-act-4-referendum-effort-say-petitions-will-withstand-legal-challenge">Stand Up for Democracy</a> was too small.</p><p>It doesn&#39;t matter if they collected more than enough signatures from registered voters in Michigan, the petition&#39;s challengers say, the letter of the law must be followed.</p><p>And the letter of the law specifies font size.</p><p>But if you really want to go there, and yes Michigan, we&#39;ve gone there, it&#39;s not that easy to determine font size these days.</p><p>Check out the infographic above for some font-size forensics (the second slide shows the font size in question).</p><p>Thanks to Dario Corsi, a graphic illustrator with Redhead Design Studio, for putting this together.</p><p>So you be the judge.
