And do we really know what is driving the violence in cities like Detroit and Flint?</p><p>Michigan State University sociologist Dr. Carl Taylor joined us today from East Lansing. Seventy percent of 85 members participated.<br><br>The Flint Journal says the ballot mentioned a "lack of planning to increase staffing" to protect the public.
