No proof, just something I had heard somewhere.</p><p>As it turns out, saccharin WAS on <a href="http://www.epa.gov/waste/hazard/wastetypes/wasteid/saccharin/index.htm">EPA's hazardous constituent list</a>. It's been on the list since 1980.
