The Accidentals have been busy since last we spoke in 2013.

All told, the young musicians performed a whopping 230 shows across the country after graduating high school last year.

The dynamic Traverse City trio was named one of Billboard Magazine's top seven breakout acts of South by Southwest in 2015.

And now, they've just released their newest EP, Parking Lot.

Listen to band members Katie Larson and Savannah Buist explain some of the inspiration behind the EP:

In April, The Accidentals released their single, "Michigan and Again," a song they describe as a love letter to Michigan and to local musicians.

In our full interview below Larson, Buist and Michael Dause shared some of their music, told us about their experience as young musicians touring the country, and looked to the band's future.
