The end of the road for under $2 a gallon gasoline?

Michigan motorists may have seen the end of two dollar a gallon gasoline.

GasBuddy.com predicts Michigan’s statewide average for a gallon of regular gasoline will rise to over $2.30.

There are several factors pushing gas prices over and above two dollars a gallon.

Strikes at more than a half dozen refineriesare slowing production. World crude oil prices, that bottomed out in the low 40 dollars a barrel range, are now trading over 50 dollars a barrel.
