Gov. Rick Snyder is in New York City today and tomorrow.

He's holding meetings, ringing the opening bell on Wall Street, and still selling Michigan's "comeback" story.

Detroit News business columnist DanielHowes thinks that comeback narrative has hit a great big pothole after the monster defeat of Proposal 1.

"I think one of the things we're seeing with this governor, the flip side of his willingness to be positive and work with people, is he's not feared as a political leader," said Howes.

He joined us today to discuss the roads disaster as well as what it means for the “comeback” narrative.
