Michigan Radio, the public radio station at the University of Michigan, is seeking a self-motivated individual to help with its fundraising activities. The Fundraising Assistant will focus on assisting the Membership department with fundraising activities at the station, including but not limited to membership drives, member mailings, and donor database management.
The Fundraising Assistant will also assist the Grants Manager, on an as needed basis, with assembling grant proposals, preparing funder progress reports, and conducting research on foundations.

The successful candidate must be organized, reliable, and able to work independently. He/she should be detail-oriented, possess strong writing and communication skills, and be an experienced social media user (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required and working knowledge of Google Docs and Forms is preferred. This position requires a commitment of 8-10 hours/week during normal business hours.
