- A new report from the Hackett Group finds a growing movement by big companies to move at least some of their global business services back to the U.S. Of the top five U.S. cities most attractive to these companies, two are in Michigan: Lansing and Grand Rapids.
- Michigan Radio reporter Lindsey Smith believes there is a lack of transparency in decisions being made about schools under state emergency management or consent agreements and decisions made by the state's Emergency Loan Board. Made of three members handpicked by the Governor, the board can lend tens of millions of taxpayer dollars to schools that are going broke.
