Vice President Mike Pence will be in Michigan Friday.

He’s helping to raise money for one of the Republicans running for governor.

Pence is the key note speaker at a noon hour fundraiser for Attorney General Bill Schuette’s gubernatorial campaign at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

Schuette not only has the Vice President raising money for him, he’s also received the president’s endorsement.

Pence has become a regular visitor to Michigan.

Last month, the vice presidentdelivered the commencement address at Hillsdale college.

But this is not going to be a long visit.

After the Oakland County fundraiser,  Vice President Pence is scheduled to make a brief stop at a Rochester construction firm to tout President Trump’s tax policies, before flying off to other speaking engagements in Ohio this evening.
