"Third Coast Conversations" will facilitate dialogues about water throughout the state of Michigan.

Let's talk about water.

That's the invitation from the Michigan Humanities Council to communities and organizations around the state. The council is accepting applications for groups to host Third Coast Conversations: Dialogues about Water in Michigan.

Shelly Kasprzycki is the executive director of the Michigan Humanities Council. She joined Stateside to talk about the significance of water in Michigan, the reason her organization is facilitating conversations about water, and why the humanities have an important role to play in this conversation.
