The Capitol Steps
Monday, July 4 at 7 PM
The Power Center, Ann Arbor

Perfectly timed for an election year, America’s foremost political satirists make their annual Fourth of July appearance at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival!

These former Congressional staffers “mock the vote,” poking fun at both sides of the aisle with up-to-the-minute song parodies like “Deleter of the Facts” and “All About the Base.” If you are sick of hearing about the candidates, Bill Cosby, and Brian Williams, you’ve come to the wrong place.

The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, What to Expect When You're Electing. They've been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, and PBS, and can be heard twice a year on National Public Radio stations nationwide during their Politics Takes a Holiday radio specials.
