Just 11 days to make your gift count twice! With just a little over a week until the fall on-air drive, we're about half way to meeting our challenge fund goal of $100,000. More than 525 members have already provided incentive dollars that will match those who pledge between October 10th-17th.

If you’re a CURRENT MEMBER, you can also help by contributing to the Fall Member Match pool where your dollars will be used as an incentive for other listeners to give. Between now and October 10th, all dollars pledged outside of regular renewals or new memberships will be held aside and used to match dollars pledged during the on-air drive.

You can extend your generosity to Michigan Radio through careful and thoughtful gift planning.  We offer a number of ways for you to leave a lasting legacy for future generation of public radio listeners.

All planned gifts are managed though the University of Michigan (holder of our broadcast license). Your contribution will be managed alongside other University of Michigan investment funds, assuring the same strategies worthy of the highest credit ratings from both Standard and Poor’s (AAA) and Moody’s (Aaa).

Working with professionals in the University’s Office of Gift Planning, we will assist you in finding a creative way to contribute that satisfies both your life planning and philanthropic objectives.

Listeners like you always have great ideas on how to help Michigan Radio. Now’s your chance to turn your talent into revenue for the station. Hold a garage sale, bake sale, car wash or other event that you think will work. But please, let us know first so that we can provide you with some basic information and rules along with some support materials to make your event go smoothly.

Using securities that have gone up in value since you bought them is an excellent way to make a gift to Michigan Radio. In most cases you will be entitled to an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift and will not have to report capital gain income. You may use securities to make your annual gift to the station or any other charitable vehicle.
