- There’s been a dramatic spike in in lead levels in the blood of some Flint children. Scientists are blaming the city’s source for drinking water. Lindsey Smith updates us on the situation.
- Over the past 70 years, Grace Lee Boggs has played a role in most of the major social movements this country has known. She died today in her home on the east side of Detroit. She was 100 years old.
- Michigan author Bonnie Jo Campbell is out with a new book, a collection of stories called Mothers, Tell Your Daughters. She talks with us about our state’s influence on her writing, and about drawing on her own experiences to craft the stories.
